Frequently Asked Questions
Who Gives to the Foundation?
The Foundation donors are from all income levels and populations in our communities. Our support is from family members of our children and consumers, employees, contracted staff therapists, community civic organizations, concerned individuals, small community businesses, corporations, and private and corporate foundations. Your support, combined with that of other compassionate people, has a positive impact on the individuals with disabilities and their families our programs serve.
Every gift counts!
Why does Pathways of Southwestern Pennsylvania Need Charitable Support?
Without the support of the community, Pathways of Southwestern Pennsylvania would have a difficult time providing the quality services that have been offered for over 50 years. If it were not for charitable giving, many new and innovative programs would not exist. Without donor support, we could not upgrade our facilities; providing a safe and secure environment for the children and adults with disabilities participating in our programs. Your support makes a great difference in the lives of individuals with disabilities in Southwestern Pennsylvania.
Does the Foundation process all gifts/donations made to Pathways of Southwestern Pennsylvania?
Yes, the Foundation processes and sends acknowledgement letters to all donors of cash, check, pledges, stock, gifts of personal items (gifts in kind), estates, etc.
