16th Annual Sporting Clays Classic at Nemacolin Woodlands

This year's 16th Annual Sporting Clays Classic was held on Sunday, May 16, 2010 at the Shooting Academy at Nemacolin Woodlands in Farmington, PA. The morning started off with a few sprinkles and clouds, but by the time our 73 shooters had finished the course, the sun was shining and everyone was smiling no matter what score they had received. The Sporting Clays Classic Committee was proud to see so many new faces showing their support for Pathways Foundation by waking up early on a Sunday morning, and as always, we are very appreciative of our Sporting Clays alumni that have supported us over these many fundraising seasons. Employees and their families from the IT Department, Human Resources, Rainbow's End Learning Center, and the Adult Training Facility also showed their support by sacrificing a Sunday morning with their families to volunteer at the Registration table and Shooting Fun Stations.

After an exciting morning of competition and friendly rivalry, lunch was served outside with raffle prizes, a door prize, and awards ceremony. We would like to congratulate our first place team of Rich Robb, Clark Griffith, Denny Stanhagen, George Moore, and Bob Coyle. Great work on hitting those targets and keeping your lead throughout the day! We also honored the best individual shooters of the day in 3 categories: George Moore was High Overall Men's Division, Andres Binotto was High Overall Junior's Division, and Valorie Taylor was High Overall Women's Division. Keep up the sharp-shooting and make sure to get plenty of practice to defend your titles next year.

Thank you again to all who participated and volunteered at this successful event.
